For the first time ever — the Maccabiah is hitting the beach! Dan Acadia Beach will be transformed into a lively summer hub, filled with non-stop beachside activities, exciting sports competitions, and fun for all ages. Everyone’s welcome — come cheer on the athletes and enjoy the ultimate summer experience right by the sea!
This summer-favorite sport brings a fresh twist to the classic game — combining high-energy play with music and fun coastal atmosphere. Played on sand, usually in pairs (two players per team), matches are held in a best-of-three sets format. This year, athletes from Israel and around the world will compete in four categories: Juniors - boys and girls | Open (ages 18–35) - men and women.
