Ice Hockey and the Maccabiah – a unique blend of tradition, competition, and Jewish pride! This dynamic team sport - a national favorite in many cold-weather countries - is played by two teams who go head-to-head, battling to score goals using special sticks and a puck on the ice.
This year, for the second time in Maccabiah history, we’re bringing a heartwarming international tradition to the rink: the Teddy Bear Toss! Right after the final whistle, fans are invited to throw plush toys onto the ice. The donated bears will be collected and distributed to children from underprivileged families, in partnership with the Israeli non-profit "Pitchon Lev". Bring the whole family, pack a teddy, enjoy the game – and help us make the world a little brighter!
